Anirudha is a SAP consultant by profession and a musician by passion. A huge fan of Kishore Kumar, he loves revisiting football matches, films of Billy Wilder, Alfred Hitchcock, Satyajit Ray, Bimal Roy, Tarun Majumdar, Basu Chatterjee, Gulzar, et al, and a horde of comedies - from the awkwardly funny Crazy Boys series to childhood favourites featuring Terence Hill & Bud Spencer.

He writes only when he has a deadline.

"Gorgeous cover, mediocre book. Should be re-titled a short, meandering biography of Amitava Kumar and Patna. To be honest, it felt like Amitava Kumar dropped into David Davidar's Aleph office one evening, and David happened to suggest: "Hey Amitava, " Read more of this review »

I'm currently working on what I plan as a four-book series, non-genre, set against a backdrop of 800 years of Delhi's history. It begins in about 1188 AD, and goes on till 1947 and Partition, following a few families, their dynamics, their stories. R See Madhulika’s answer.
