Laura Dreiže (1990) is a Latvian writer, translator, editor, author of acclaimed fantasy and science fiction novels. Her first stories were crafted during her school days, ignited by a fascination for myths, legends, history, and folklore from various cultures, which still remains her primary source of inspiration. She's a three-time winner of the Zvaigzne ABC award, and several of her books have been included in the reading promotion program Children, Youth and Parents' Jury. She also created the Latvian branch of the National Novel Writing Month challenge.

When not writing, Laura is either busy traveling and exploring the world, or curled up with a book and knitting needles. ...more
