Janis I. Monroe is a short story, article, novel writer and poet. Her articles have been published through the Yahoo Contributor Network as well as in the National Health Federation Magazine and website. Her poetry has appeared in several chapbooks by the J.M.W. Publishing Company and has also appeared in a Vermont magazine, EverChanging, and a U.K. magazine, Poetic Hours. When she’s not writing, you can find her in the kitchen, singing at the top of her lungs while she creates gluten free meals and desserts for her family.

The Adventures of Summer and Bun Bun

It has been several months since I have written on this blog. COVID-19 hit and like everyone else our little worlds have been flipped upside down. Our kids were homeschooled so that gave me less time to work on my writing and write on this blog. But I have been able to find some time at night while my husband puts our son to bed. I have time to do some writing, even if it’s only for a half an hour
