A.J. Calvin is a science fiction/fantasy novelist from Loveland, Colorado known best for The Caein Legacy series and The Relics of War series. By day, she works as a microbiologist, but in her free time she writes. She lives with her husband, a turtle, and a salt water aquarium.

When she is not working or writing, she enjoys scuba diving, hiking, and playing video games.

Hi thanks for the quick response. If you have paperback copies of Exile, or even The Moons Eye, I would be very grateful for the opportunity to start either or both of these series? The Relics of War (which starts with The Moon's Eye) is more of a "classic" fantasy in terms of style, though…moreThe two series are quite a bit different.

The Relics of War (which starts with The Moon's Eye) is more of a "classic" fantasy in terms of style, though with some unique peoples like the Scorpion Men. It has multiple POVs and is written in third-person. The Relics of War series is published in its entirety (though I may write more standalones like Serpentus that relate to it later.)

The Caein Legacy (which begins with Exile) has a more modern feel and it's written in first-person with a single POV for the entire series. Currently, only books 1 and 2 are published, though 3 and 4 will release this year (May and November, respectively.) The Caein Legacy is my more popular series.

If you have a preference as to which series you'd prefer, let me know, and I'll have something sent your way later this week.

As far as cover reveals go, I won't have any new artwork to share for a while, though I'm planning to share something from my upcoming space opera around the December/January timeframe. I will do my best to remember your offer for that in the meantime!

Exile is coming...

I realize I've been very bad about keeping up with my Goodreads posts, but I am very excited about an upcoming announcement and I wanted to share a few details.
