Nocturnal by nature, Bev Walton~Porter has been a professional writer, editor, and writing instructor since May 1997. She also writes under the pen names of Bev Sninchak and Star Ferris.

While attending the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs, Bev majored in Communication and minored in Philosophy, with an emphasis on Eastern belief systems. She also completed an independent study on death & dying in early pagan cultures.

Previously she attended Phillips University in Enid, Oklahoma, where she majored in Mass Communication and Psychology. Bev continues to pursue an education in various subjects, including forensic psychology, literature, languages, and psychology.

As far as favorite romantic couples are concerned, that's a hard one. I mean, there are so many, right? For now (and this could change later), I would have to say that I adore Westley and Princess Buttercup from William Goldman's book, The Princess Bride.

When an author combines humor and romance, I'm easily hooked! Reading "As you wish," makes me swoon and quickens my pulse!

I also love the movie adaptation. It's my second-favorite movie of all time!

For me, overthinking can be a HUGE problem. So the best way to break through is to use any of the methods above, depending on which feels right at the time. (less)
