Maria Thermann writes commisioned web content, mainly for travel-related websites, and works as a freelance children's book editor. She was born in Germany. Maria studied English & German Literature at the University of Hamburg, before moving to the UK, where she remained for the next 34 years. She worked in many different industries in London and other parts of the UK. Her work experience includes magazine publishing and advertising. She now lives in her native Northern Germany again. She has published several books for children.
