It lives!!! 'Arlo and Jake: Galactic Boot Camp' is out!

Book Two of the 'Arlo and Jake' series is out!

The adventure continues as our heroes are shipped to Camp Balator, a Federation of Thirteen Galaxies (FTG) boot camp, reserved for the cream of the crop recruits. The training is designed to push recruits to their limits and beyond.

Jake and Arlo meet new friends and become part of a Triad, a group of three recruits and their partners. Together they struggle to make it through the intensive training and get back the FTG Triumph, where Pixie and Leeta eagerly await their return.

But there are other forces in the Universe who have nefarious plans for the prestigious camp; deadly plans.

Can Jake make it through boot camp a second time or is he headed for another Captain's Mast?

Can they even make it out alive?

Why does danger always seems to follow our intrepid duo?

Whoo Hoo, I'm being interviewed!

The always wacky I.B. Nosey interviews me on his web site. It's a hoot!

Please stop by and leave a note. We wouldn't want the Nose to run away!
(my apologies, too much time trading puns with my granddaughter this weekend... ;-)

Writing is a serious business

I'm in the last few thousand words of 'Arlo and Jake Lost Partner', the third installment of the series. Whew, it's bloody hard! ;-)

Imagine herding cats, uphill, in the snow, blindfolded with one arm and one leg tied behind your back. Oh, and you don't know where the sink holes are up ahead. Yeah, that pretty much gives you a feeling for it.

But, 'yes', I still truly enjoy writing. In fact my list of 'To Be Written' outlines is constantly growing! I must have 50 or 60 serious contenders for full length and short stories, all waving their tiny little hands up, crying 'pick me next', 'no, you freak, he's gonna pick me!'. Very distracting.

I can write. I'm not and never will be a main stream author. That's fine, no problem with that. When I write, that small boy inside me gets that silly grin on his face like he's eating the ice cream cone of the summer. It's incredibly rewarding.

I'm not so good at marketing. I'm trying! I'm getting more active on GR, twitter, Amazon. If I learn of a new way to get my books in front of new readers, I try it, with zeal!

I other news, I'm meeting some awesome new readers and writers here on GR. Just read 'The Fence' by Pete Carter. Check out my review. Action, action, action. Get it!

As soon as I kick Arlo #3 out the door, I'm off to rewrite Genome and start on a sequel! Wish me luck!
