I hooked up with my boyfriend about a year ago while he was crewing a bareboat charter out of St. Lucia, where we were living. The pirate-y setting, plus those long, lonely nights watching the boat pull at its own anchor chain, inspired us to start telling tall tales, first to each other, then, as on-board relationships developed, to the other passengers. Eventually, I started writing the tales down and we even performed them for an audience. The show didn’t stop when the sun went down…

Personality Disorder!

During the writing of this book I found myself adopted a persona that, quite frankly, I hadn’t realized existed until now. I am really a bad girl, as it turns out. I am not sure “Huggybuns” entirely approved of my pet name for him but he agreed to let me write (while he rehearsed) another illicit adventure. I’m looking forward to another delectable voyage before the mast.
