The Creek
So far I must admit that I am so happy at seeing how many have voted and shown report for my story The Creek. Not only have I received so many positive reviews for it when people have written reviews for my collection,At the Gates of Madness, but is current sitting on Stephen Jones' desk for consideration in the next Mammoth Book of Best New Horror and is currently sitting in the number two spot on P&E with several positive comments. I appreciate every single vote given. This story was one of my absolute favorites in the collection, calling on many childhood memories and nightmares that used to haunt me, to see people responding so well, and getting the recognition it is makes me so happy. Below I will add the link for anyone who wants to vote. But whether it makes it to first or tenth, it doesn't really matter. I've been given a prize already in seeing that so many have already read it and enjoyed it. I don't write for awards, I write for people to read, find a moment of escape in what I write and in the end to linger in your heads. Getting the awards or recognition is just another way to show how far the story has reaches. Thank you all again for your support this year and I promise that next year will be even bigger.

Reader's Poll
Right now, I have two stories that are up on the Predators and Editors readers poll. Unlike the Bram Stoker and British Fantasy Society awards, these are voted on by the readers. The two I have on there now are Taut which was featured in Zippered Flesh 2 in the horror short story section and Miriam which was featured in Dark Light Book Three which is in the streampunk short story section. I will add links below so that you can vote on them. If you have read the story, feel free to head over now and vote. If you haven't read them, send me a PM with your email address and I will send you a PDF copy of one or both of them. Thanks in advance and here are the links:

Voting Time!
Well, it's that time of year again. Polls are open to vote for novels and short stories I've written. Right now, I'm on the list for a novel and a short story. Last year, the votes helped me hit second place which is amazing because there were so many great writers on the list, so thanks.
Below I have links to the novel and short story category. All you have to do is click each link, click my story and fill out your name, email address (don't worry they don't spam) and the security thingy. Then, respond to the email and it's good to go. Only one vote counts, so you can only vote once in each category.
And don't forget to check out the other categories. So many talented people on the list!
