Maico Morellini, classe 1977, vive in provincia di Reggio Emilia e lavora nel settore informatico. Con il suo primo romanzo di fantascienza “Il Re Nero” ha vinto il Premio Urania 2010, pubblicato nel novembre del 2011 da Mondadori. Ha ricevuto segnalazioni al Premio Lovecraft e al Premio Algernoon Blackwood, collabora con la rivista di cinema Nocturno, ha pubblicato racconti su diverse antologie tra cui ‘365 Racconti sulla fine del mondo’, ’50 sfumature di sci-fi’, ‘D-Doomsday’, ‘I Sogni di Cartesio’, ‘Ma gli androidi mangiano spaghetti elettrici’ oltre che sulla rivista Robot e sulla Writers Magazine Italia.
