My “One Word” for 2026…

Happy New Year, friends! As is the custom for many, I’m tiptoeing into the next twelve months with a particular word in mind. Nothing magical or audacious about it, merely something I can ponder, observe, work on, and hopefully learn from as the year unfolds. So… my “one word” for 2026 is: TIME.

“All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us.” (Gandalf) ― J.R.R. Tolkie

“What if we started counting our blessings rather than counting the days?”
Laura Thomas

“Just as my body suddenly yearns for long walks in the warm sunshine, so, too, my soul yearns to be stretched and watered after a somewhat stagnant season of comfortable coziness.”
Laura Thomas

“Allow the beauty of creation to soak deep within our souls with eye candy such as mountain or lake or ocean or countryside or forest. It reminds us how small we are and how utterly magnificent God is, and that makes His love for us all the more breathtaking.”
Laura Thomas
