Zachary Carr hails from Houston, TX, where he balances a rich life as a husband and father of five. A Marine Corps veteran with five years of service, he transitioned from a decade as a degreed accountant to teaching Digital Media and Foundations of Business Communications at Aldine ISD. A lifelong sci-fi and fantasy enthusiast, Zachary’s love for Tolkien’s masterpieces inspired his debut novel, Eryndral: Shards of Eternity, a work aiming to awe and wonder. His nerdy passions—resin crafting, woodworking, movies, and gaming with his kids—fuel his creative spirit, driving him to leave a lasting legacy beyond family and friends.
