Austenite by obsession. Romance writer by compulsion. I write Pride and Prejudice variations, Regency romance, and stories where the characters have better comebacks than I do. I like my heroines bold, my heroes redeemable, and my readers laughing out loud.
I write between genres because I have a questioning, wandering mind and I get fascinated with many things. I love writing contemporary romances, mostly later-in-life, but always with hope and HEA.
One day I will get to finish my crime novel. Honestly, I will.
I earned the KDP Select All Stars bonus for Mr Darcy's New Year's Resolution in January 2026.
Also, I’m an award-winning author:
I won the RISCS Short Story Competition 2026, hosted by the University of Bristol.
I won the Story Unlikely

Proud and Petty

I just came up with a title for a P&P variation. Proud and Petty.

Let’s say Mr Darcy is a proud novelist. A proper one, who struggles with words burning the midnight oil. He has written a novel dedicated to his wife, titled Elizabeth, the Love, the Myth, the Woman. He is self-publishing it because he won’t wait for a publisher to tell him whether his wife is worth the paper. He’ll do it himself, wi

"What if a father refused to support his daughter when she declined marriage to an imbecilic, sycophantic man? Beth Massey explores this idea in her steamy, madcap Pride & Prejudice variation tale.

This book was recommended to me by my editor and friend, which, coming from her, says a lot. She was right.
I loved this modern take on Darcy and Elizabeth, their history and the fact that neither ever truly moved on. The art-world setting was fascina

Ms Earle has become an auto-buy author for me. Mr Darcy's Long Game is another gem that delivers exactly what I like: subtle, often startling humour, a zero-angst (or very low-angst) love story, and just the right tiny splash of steam to make everyth ...more

“But looking at Jane, and looking at you, I find I am simply tired of being angry. It is exhausting work, hating you, Mr Darcy.”
Lefki Karantoni, Mr Darcy's New Year's Resolution: A Light-Hearted Festive Regency Romance of Pride and Prejudice

“He stroked the leather binding with his thumb, a look of profound, hazy longing softening his usually severe features. He looked less like the Master of Pemberley and more like a man who had been hit over the head with a very heavy realization.”
Lefki Karantoni, Mr Darcy's New Year's Resolution: A Light-Hearted Festive Regency Romance of Pride and Prejudice

“Elizabeth met his gaze head-on. She channelled every ounce of her anger into that look. She thought of Bingley's abandonment. Jane's tears. His haughty dismissal of her beauty. She narrowed her eyes, communicating a message that clearly said: I loathe you, and if I could set you on fire with my mind, you would currently be ash.”
