Dear James,
Thank you so much for your kind words. Coming from a writer whose work and reflections I truly respect, they mean a great deal to me.
Yes, it has been quite a journey, and in many ways it still is. From the outside, moving from finance into the inner life may seem like a sharp turn, but for me it slowly became part of a deeper search. You understood something very important to me: I’ve always felt that stories can carry these deeper questions in a way pure theory often cannot. Through characters, through events, and through what unfolds along the way, they seem to touch people more directly.
I’ve also been exploring your work, and specifically 'Son of Peace' caught my eye. Siddhartha’s journey from the opulence of palaces to the ultimate truth feels like a timeless mirror to Altan’s modern escape from the 'palaces' of finance in my own work. I’ve already added it to my 'Want to Read' list and I'm truly looking forward to diving into your writing.
I’d be very happy to send you a digital copy of 'Journey to Red Dawn' in PDF format. No pressure at all, and no expectation of a review — I would simply value having a mind like yours spend time with the story.
Warmly,
Cagla
Hi Cagla,Nice to connect with you here on Goodreads. I enjoyed reading your bio — that journey from finance into exploring consciousness and the inner life is quite something.
Your work blending fiction with philosophy and mystical ideas sounds especially interesting. I always admire writers who tackle those deeper questions through storytelling rather than just theory.
I’m looking forward to seeing more of your work and what you’re reading.
Best wishes,
James
