To the Beach & Planning to Write
Heading for the beach right now. Planning for sun, fun and writing. Hope to come close to finishing my novel, Oh Claire!
It's gonna be a hot two weeks. Maybe that'll translate into some heat in the story (I think there's already a lot).
Hair's tied back and I'm hot, just from the sun coming through the car window. Seems worse now that I'm going through the baby hormone changes stuff.
Always been a beach girl, always had long hair, and the heat never got to me before.
Go figure...

Home from the Beach
Back home. Tan, rested, 2-weeks more pregnant and ready to finish "Oh Claire!".
Loved the beach but it's good to be back. Particularly loved having every day with hubby.
It's hotter than blazes here - hotter than the beach by 10 - 15 degrees.
Still planning to lose the hair in 2 weeks. Haven't decided on a style - so I'm open for input. But it's gotta be short, short , short - and easy. Curly or straight - I'm open to either. But if I'm gonna do this, it's gonna be all the way! I've had long hair since I was about 3 years old - 30 years is long enough.
Any words of encouragement would be appreciated. I don't want to lose my nerve!

Continuing Saga of My Hair
Well, for all of you who've been following my hair oddessy (more than I ever expected), there's more hair news. My medum-to-dark brown hair is now jet black!
I'm probably more surprised than you are. This was totally unplanned, but my hairdresser dyed it when I went in for a trim today.

Help Me Decide!
Hi all!
I've changed my look - yes, yet again - my hair is closer to its natural dark brown, but it's kinky curly, not like it's natural straight look. In addition, I have been getting a lotion and spray tan, which makes my complexion darker, of course.
So many people liked the red curls of my GR pic from last year, that I hate to drop it. However, I really don't look like that now.
So I need your help. Should I post a pic of how I really look now, or stick with the one that's a year old. Based on what folks have told me, they are pretty different.
Is this whole note frivolous? Of course it is! But you can still vote.
Besides - it's important to me, even if it is frivolous. I've been told my new hair and tan make me look biracial. That doesn't bother me, but I really am not, and I don't want people to be offended.
