Waiting to see the new book ,can,t believe it is really about ready for the readers to view it,. the weather is changing in our mountains,we see signs of fall everywhere.with the cooler weather ,Patti and i will have more time to devote to our writing,since we both are outdoor people.hope all our friends will be as happy as we are with the new book,thanks to ya,ll for supporting us.

After three revisions and two reads of the editor,the new book has finally gone to the publisher.whew! Hope it will be on the book sales by Oct,we are very happy with the results,hope the readers will like it also.look for Southern Mystical Moments,coming soon,

Outside my window is all the beauty anyone would wish to see,the tall poplar trees entertwine to form a canopy against the sky, the dogwood tree covered in its red berries providing a feast for the yellow finch nesting there, and the headline event of the day was a tiny humming bird, wings beating furiously as it ate from the feeder there. While the majestic mountains in the background shelter us all. What more beauty could a soul wish for.

Did you ever wonder why it seems obstacles are put in your way all day long? is it just Gods way of trying our patience or is it a way to see how quick we want to get home to our haven of peace?

Great day for writing!the thunder rolled as one country song states! If we could bottle all this rain and use it later it would be great,just finished reading a new book now I am ready for a new one, we meet with our editor next week hopefully Mystical Moments will be ready for the publisher soon .

Beautiful red tomatoes and firm crisp cucumbers,harvested in the cool air of dawn.These are the treasures from my garden which I enjoy. When that red ball of heat ,crests the mountain top,I head for the shade and the air conditioner. Do you? Get the idea I don't like Summer?

The shadows are lengthening in my back yard, the temperature might contradict it but it sure looks like Autumn is approaching early,The cicadas and locust call to each other from the trees as the dark cloak of night falls obscuring the shadows

It's a hot summer day here in the Smokies and dog days are in full swing. Pati and I went to the farmer's market to support our local growers. Both of us bought sugar babies (small round green watermelons, known for the sweetness) and several other items.

My garden is scalded from the heat and excessive rain. We are going to 'can' tomatoes tomorrow for winter and can apples thursday. There isn't aything better than a fresh hot apple pie coming out of the oven, with the scent of cinnamon in the air, and snow on the ground. This will warm the soul and the body.

We are still polishing the new book before it goes to the editor.this book features my story, Magic Under the Willow Tree" which originated from a reoccurring dream.I am a southern writer and having been born in the South, I have lived in many places and been exposed to other cultures while traveling with my now,deceased husband. I hope you all like a story which has a lot of twists and turns. if you do, you won't be disappointed.
