So, so busy!
I've seriously neglected Goodreads and hope to make up for it now.
I've been writing a new book in my Rocky Bluff P.D. series which won't come out until next year, just finished a lot of promotion for the last one--Violent Departures.
Now I have a new Deputy Tempe Crabtree mystery ready to debut at the end of the month, Not as it Seems. And of course that means planning promotion for it.
And for those of you who know me, I have a big family, and a lot of the summer has been taking a lot of fun time with various members, visiting, going places, and celebrating birthdays and other events.

A Giveaway and More
Yep, I'm giving away 15 autographed copies of No Sanctuary, #5 in the Rocky Bluff P.D. mystery series. Why? I'd like more readers to become acquainted with the members of the Rocky Bluff P.D. and their families.

This month #10 in the series will be available, Murder in the Worst Degree.
This series has had a rocky (no pun intended) publishing history. The first two books, Final Respects and Bad Tidings were with an agent. She said I had good titles--but never found a publisher for me. I found a publisher in Writers Digest Marketplace--but it was an e-publisher long before anyone had a clue what e-were and they could only be read on a computer.
Next was a publisher who is still around, he published the first two in the series, but we didn't mesh well.
The third publisher did a great job with the books--but after printing the next wo in the series, she quite the business.
Now I'm with Oak Tree Press and all the books are now available in print and as e-books. My goal now is to find more readers who love my characters as much as I do. Frankly, I keep writing about them because I want to know what is going to happen to them next.
