Ok, so it seems that we must say goodbye to Dreamweaver Chronicles. There is practically no interest in the story from readers (I appreciate those whom have supported me and thank you from the bottom of my heart) and I just don't have the money to spend to publish the next two. I had a deal with the publishing house that if I sold 1,000 copies that they would then be bound to publish all the other books I write at no extra cost - sounded kinda good since my family (I have a huge extended family) and friends told me that they would most definitely buy and distribute, tell friends, etc. etc.
But in this process, I have learnt A LOT. Not one of my friends or family (bar my sister and mom) bought a copy and rather asked me to bring them one free for their libraries when I visited. All promises and interest were lost as soon as it was actually published. The same with friends. It was then that I met amazing people online that were willing to support me - to those, my most humble and grateful thanks - you showed me more support than my friends and most of my family. There are more books to come, but I don't think the indie way is good for me, praying for an agent this time :-).

I was hoping to have the second book of Dreamweaver Chronicles finished by the end of the year, as well as published, but I don't think it is going to happen as planned... A bit disappointing as there are many exciting twists, shock losses, strange creatures as well as exciting new characters that I wanted to share with my fantastic readers - going to keep hoping but don't hold your breath.

Winter is coming to an end - sadly... I personally love the cold, it means comfort, cuddliness, hot chocolate, movies, reading and soup.

Today, while digging through some old books I found my original manuscript for Sylvan Elf Tears. Handwritten and very worn. Within the pages of the old textbook turned literary project I found pictures I had drawn to compliment the story. I hope I might be able to add them to the next book. I left the main ones incase I need them later, but some of the rough drafts and ideas I took photos of and put on my facebook page. I am busy sketching the company and might have some rough draft ideas up next week as well!

The Giveaway for Book 1 of the Dreamweaver Chronicles, Sylvan Elf Tears, is just over three hours from being finished. Had such a great amount of interest this time and hope to do another giveaway in the future again - so grateful to all those who showed interest.

I wasn't sure if I would even continue with the Dreamweaver Chronicles since I got such small results with Book 1, but a long time ago I decided that if one person enjoys my work enough to want to read more, that I would continue. A day came, a few weeks ago, when someone asked me how far book 2 was and when it would be available. I had done a few pages a long time ago but continued with other projects after that. Since then I have had fun getting reacquainted with my characters, remember exciting things I had in store and going on a whole new journey with old companions and friends. Currently on chapter 6 of draft 1, I am moving along at a rather slow but steady pace and hope to see Book 2 out in a little while.
