David Corbin spent over twenty years as a U.S. Navy officer, serving around the world before returning to Oklahoma, the place where his love of old game consoles, small-town stories, and “what-if” questions first took root.
His debut novel, The Last Save: Paradox 5200, reintroduced readers to the magic of retro gaming and the ache of second chances.
Now, Corbin drives deeper into the Paradox universe, exploring branching choices, altered memories, and the consequences of rewriting a life.
Blending nostalgia, emotional realism, and a lifelong passion for time-bending storytelling, he writes with one guiding question:

Inspiration

Every story begins as a spark — a small idea that refuses to fade. For me, The Last Save: Paradox 5200 started as one of those quiet thoughts that showed up about ten years ago.
