The story was well-written, but for me, it wasn´t a developing story but more a sequence of events. The grandfather also switched surprisingly at the end, and the characters behaved like teenagers. The sometimes very short chapters also irritated me.

I liked the writing style as it was easy to read. But after 220 pages full of descriptions including what the characters had for lunch, the ending felt rushed as if the author thought, oh yes, I have to bring some love stories in. The epilogue even f ...more

It took 200 pages to understand how all the stories fit together. But after that, the story got more and more interesting. Just the end happened a bit too quickly.

It wasn´t for me. I didn´t like that the perspective jumped from one to the other and also the setting wasn´t mine. But the book is well written, has a few surprises, and you get to know a lot of the main character.
