It wasn´t for me. I didn´t like that the perspective jumped from one to the other and also the setting wasn´t mine. But the book is well written, has a few surprises, and you get to know a lot of the main character.

Der zweite Teil des Deutschlehrers ist um einiges besser als der erste. Es liest sich flüssiger und am besten haben mir die lustigen Anekdoten gefallen. Davon dürfte es gerne mehr geben.

The story was well-written, but for me, it wasn´t a developing story but more a sequence of events. The grandfather also switched surprisingly at the end, and the characters behaved like teenagers. The sometimes very short chapters also irritated me.
