Gail Faulkner (forever 38) was born in a frustrated reader's mind. She adores men who know what they want and intend to get it.

One thing she is sure of is, Erotic is the new Sexy and that is excellent news. Slipping on a little black dress is fun, having it ripped off, even better. Okay, maybe we can get him to just take it off but that might be tricky.

Most of all, she loves sharing her daydreams with anyone who will read them.

I take myself out for a play date, (whatever makes me happy), get a good night's sleep. The next morning I sit down and write. So the child has been pampered, rested, and now it is time to work. Surprisingly, this gets me going again.(less)

Better than expected!

The slow burn is delicious. This book is the perfect winter read because it heats the room. Not going to recap the story because it is a twisty beast. Enjoy it.

Wicked sweet like dark chocolate

He is a hero, but only for her. The world gets the villain. It makes sense even when it is excessive. The slow burn is never boring, the author does an excellent job.

“You were mine to protect and take care of, Jilly-girl. And the better I learned you, the deeper you burrowed into my soul. Every time I took a bit more control, the higher you flew in my arms. You were an addiction and a mystery…you fed my soul and drove me over the edge.”
