TURN: A New Dawn Cover Reveal
It's a new year, and I"m excited to share the latest update for my TURN series. The manuscript is off to the editor to smooth out any wrinkles, but that doesn't mean things aren't progressing on other fronts. After several revisions I've found the perfect cover for this next installment, which you can see now.A New Dawn finds Reed Kimble still in Africa, but other than that, plenty of things have changed, including a major part of what Reed does every day. Without getting too far into the details, suffice to say this new tale follows Reed down a path he could never have imagined. Africa may be the same, but what happens on the savanna upends what Reed has known and done for years, taking him in a different direction, one with which he is wholly unfamiliar. There are plenty of twists, turns and excitement waiting, all of which I promise will be discussed in the near future. For now, though, I hope you like the cover and are as excited as I am for the newest story, which arrives in Spring 2018.Happy New Year to everyone! Thanks for stopping by, and I hope you have a wonderful and rewarding 2018.

A new series begins...
After more hours than I care to remember pounding the keyboard, slashing out mistakes with red ink and making sure all the non-writing parts align, it's time to release the first book in my new TURN series. The Conflict Lands introduces Reed Kimble, a big-game hunting guide in the amazing land of Tanzania, a man who lives by his own rules and attacks life head-on. However, this existence is destroyed when he runs afoul of the most ruthless gang in a dangerous nation and has to fight for his way of life with everything he has.Reed's adventure is only beginning when bullets start flying during a hunt for lions and he finds uncut diamonds on the corpse of the shooter. Who sent these men into the savanna with a fortune in gemstones, and why are they willing to kill Reed to keep their secret? Things only get worse from there as Reed is forced to confront a danger lurking on the savanna that will stop at nothing to get Reed out of their way.The Conflict Lands is the first book in the TURN series, which I hope achieves one of my core tenets in writing; get readers to think while they enjoy a rollicking tale. Reed's troubles aren't entirely unlike those facing many Africans today, from wealthy hunters to the poorest natives whose lives are unimaginable to those of us fortunate enough to live in the developed world. I think it's my best story to date, and I suspect you will too. Keep an eye on my website for details surrounding the next book in the TURN series, which is being edited now.As always, thanks for stopping by, and happy reading everyone.

TURN: The Conflict Lands
Over the past year I have been working on the first three books in a new series, and I am beyond excited that it is nearly time to publish the first tale. The TURN series follows the exploits of a protagonist the likes of which I have never read about, big game hunter Reed Kimble. Set in the African savanna, this story takes place in one of Earth's most amazing places, and it is filled to the brim with action, intrigue, danger and all sorts of fun. Well, fun for the reader, not so much for Reed Kimble.
It all starts when Reed leads a group of big game hunters out for what should be a normal hunt, but it turns deadly when they run into a group of criminals who open fire on Reed's team, forcing them to fight for their lives. When Reed finds uncut diamonds on an assailant's corpse, he has no idea what is coming his way. In the vein of my Parker Chase series, this tale starts out quickly and never lets up, all of it taking place in the enigmatic African savanna. This tale focuses on present-day problems, exposing the seedy underside of a beautiful continent that is all the more heartbreaking because it is true. What happens to Reed happens every day, and I think this story captures the diametrically opposed power and hopelessness that is Africa today. If nothing else, it is one heck of a ride. TURN: The Conflict Lands will be out in July, so keep your eyes open for this latest release. As always, thanks for stopping by.

Parker Chase #5
Recently I’ve received quite a few emails concerning the future of my Parker Chase series, so I wanted to provide an update regarding the goings-on of these stories and the ending ofA Republic of Shadows. First, thank you everyone for your comments and questions. I had no idea the tale would generate such a response, and I’m stoked everybody is so intrigued about what comes next. What you read is not always as it seems. Yes, things look bleak for Parker and Erika. What happens next? Well, all I can say is that while you’ll have to stay tuned, there is more to come in this series. I’m currently working on the rough draft of Book 5, which so far is as exciting as anything I’ve ever written. The possibilities for what happens are vast. Hell, right now even I don’t know what is coming. I’m figuring it out as I go, and so far things are looking fantastic. In a good way or bad? Remains to be seen.SinceAROSwas published in March, I’ve begun work on another series and have completed the first two novels, details of which will be forthcoming shortly. This is an entirely new venture, one which I’m beyond excited about, and I think you will be too. It’s a departure from my Parker Chase stories in that history isn’t the main focus, though all the action and intrigue remains, along with a heaping dose of new subject matter that will have readers on the edge of their seat. More to come on those stories later. In between drafting these two manuscripts I’ve also roughed out a draft of Book 5 and quickly discovered there aren’t enough hours in the day. I’m sure you don’t me to tell you that, so for now I’m buckling down at the keyboard to get this draft out to my editing team as soon as possible. Once I have an idea of where this tale is headed, I’ll pass it on, along with the cover, title and any other advance information I can send.Thank you to everyone who dropped me a line about the future of this series. I’m always excited to hear from you, and I can’t wait to get Book 5 finished and out for everyone to enjoy.

Updated covers for APB and TCV
Two new covers for my first novels are up as of today. I loved the ones I had originally, and thought they served my purpose very well, but after a 2-plus year run it's time for an update. These were created by the fantastic Brandi Doane McCann, who I can't recommend highly enough. She went above and beyond my expectations, capturing the spirit of each novel with an eye-grabbing design that flows well from one tale to the next. I'm excited to have her in my corner, and can't wait to see what the
