Lisa Shea is a fervent fan of honor, loyalty, and chivalry. She brings to life worlds where men and women stand shoulder to shoulder, steady in their desire to make the world a better place for all. Most of her profits are donated to support battered women's shelters.

Lisa's works are all cleanly written with no explicit intimacy and little language. They are suitable for teens and up.

Lisa has written a wide range of fiction stories. She has medieval romances, modern murder mystery novels, sci-fi adventures, Scottish regency time travel romances, dystopian stories, 1800s-era black-Indian novellas, and Blackstone Valley mysteries.

In short stories, there's a thirty-one part story-a-day mini mystery series set in Salem, Massachusetts through th

I write medieval romance, cozy mystery, dystopian, science fiction, and more. So the authors I enjoy are equally diverse. Each has their own unique way of bringing their universe to life. It's not that those three authors are similar as much as that each one is wonderful at what they do. They each influence me in wholly different ways. What I adore about Austen's books is quite different from what I adore about Tolkein's worlds :).(less)

A review exchange innately provides incentive for each reviewer to artificially improve what they say because they are expecting something beneficial in return.

No author should ever participate in a review exchange.

Amazon and other systems have software which actively seek out people who do review exchanges and those people can have their entire accounts removed.(less)

What The Moon Brings by H. P. Lovecraft Review and Analysis

H. P. Lovecraft was really into dreams. What The Moon Brings is his second story in a row focused on his dream-world, and of course one of many over his writing journey which tackled this topic. Our main character is in a dreamy garden, but of course it’s not a sensical garden. It just goes

Kira Hawke Hey there Lisa! Thanks so much for the friend request. I recognize you from Twitter and it's nice seeing a familiar face ;)

Gianna Thomas Hi, Lisa,

Thank you for making me your friend.

Congratulations on the large body of work you've written and that most of it help people improve their lives.

Hope you have a wonderful weekend.

Gianna Thomas

Lisette Kristensen I'm not a member the group, so couldn't reply. I wanted to answer your post regarding writing violent scenes versus sexual scenes. I think the difference is in writing a violent scene it's total fantasy. We don't look at the violence as part of who we are. Sex scenes are more real to the writer. It's like relating a part of you, your own sexuality and that freaks some writers out. Kind of like sharing their own bedrooms.

Just my take on it.

Lisette
