Faster than the Speed of Light
When we* came to the water’s edge, we asked, “What lies beyond?” and we found a way to float upon that water and we discovered new lands.
When we saw birds in flight, someone wondered, “Why can’t we do that?” Eventually, we found a way and we flew.
When a president promised to put a man on the moon, we put our minds together and figured out how to do just that.
Those things weren’t accomplished by saying, “Water is the limit / the sky is the limit / Earth is the limit.”
Then why do we limit ourselves to the speed of light?
Paradigms are like soda cans: They’re useful for a while, but eventually they become empty. And once they’re empty, someone comes along and crushes them.
Someone, please, find a way to break the speed of light. I’m not a scientist, but from what I’ve been able to glean from astronomy books and TV shows like NOVA is that as you approach the speed of light, you become infinitely massive. It’s based on Einstein’s famous equation (you know which one). But this contradicts the human spirit. We don’t like being told what we can and can’t do – personally and physically – and this physical “law” is tantamount to a death sentence to any plans of future space exploration . Why dream of super light speed travel when you’re told that it is physically impossible? Why reach for the stars when they will be forever out of reach due to a speed limit?
If even one UFO case is real, and we’ve been visited by aliens from other star systems, then they must surely have super light speed capabilities. At the very least, they possess a knowledge of the physical universe that we can’t even begin to comprehend. What are their propulsion systems? I seriously doubt they are using fossil fuels.
Maybe they are using wormholes. Maybe they are just imagining where they are wanting to go and physically transporting themselves. Maybe they have no limits to their imaginations.
