Bish Denham, whose mother’s side of the family has been in the Caribbean for over one hundred years, was raised in the U. S. Virgin Islands. She still has lots of family living there whom she visits regularly.

Time for a Change

I am suspending this blog for an indefinite period of time.

I don't get to other blogs and read what's going on with all of you and that in itself seems unfair. I can't expect people to come to my blog if I don't go to theirs. Social satire of this type probably began with an Irish cleric, one named Jonathon Swift (1667-1745) who wrote the incomparable Gulliver's Travels.

He was followed by the masterful French wordsmith, Voltaire (1694-1778) author of Candide. I wonder if
