S. Willett A friend in my writers' critique group has a tween book coming out in September 2011. The book is titled, 'Ghost Dog of Roanoke Island' by C.K. Volnek. This fictional novel is based on a true story of the Lost Colony of Roanoke Island and is C.K. Volnek's adaptation of what may have happened to the 117 missing colonists and Indians alike, as twelve-year-old Jack Dahlgren struggles to unravel the four-hundred year-old mystery and save his family from the hateful wraith that haunts the island.
