New Short Story - Backwoods Beast
I was never really into the whole werewolf romance/erotica genre. Tails, fur...not my thing. But some of my friends eat that stuff up, and they've been hounding me to give it a shot. Incidentally, I'd been wanting to try my hand at a >10,000 word erotic piece; so, at last, I decided to take up the werewolf challenge and see what I could put together.
After a whole lot of experimental fantasizing and calling my werewolf-fan of a mother late at night for bizarre impromptu interrogations ("But if he doesn't wolf out during sex, what's the point?" "It's about FAMILY, Claire! They're very LOYAL!" "What? Family?! I'm trying to write a porno, here, Mom! ...Mom?"), something finally clicked!
I had SO much fun writing this story! Bringing the beast out in Eli was thrilling. I couldn't get enough of imagining his gleaming eyes, grinning fangs, and big, brutal hands. Oof! Get me one. Call me a convert.
Backwoods Beast is available right now on Smashwords, and should hit Amazon and other retailers in the next few days. Dig that killer book cover! It's my favorite so far.
