Meet the Author
I'm so excited! I'm doing a meet and greet at my local Barnes & Noble. Wednesday, October 17, 2012 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. When I wrote this book, I never dreamed I would be appearing in a book store meeting readers. So exciting! This is the first time I will be making an appearance as a author and I'm nervous, but more thrilled than I could tell you. If any authors out there have words of advice, I would appreciate it.

Meet the Author
The Meet the Author event at Barnes & Noble was tonight. There were so many people there that B&N had police officers standing around the Nook area. Eight authors were there meeting and greeting readers. Family and friends who showed up were a blessing. So nice to see familiar smiles. Made a few important contacts and look forward to the next event. Now ... back to writing.

So Much Fun!
As you know, I made my debut appearance as a published author on Wednesday evening at Barnes & Noble. I was part of a Meet the Author event together with 7 other authors. Let me tell you what a blast it was. All the hours of blood, sweat and tears we put into bringing our writing to publication becomes so worth it when we see our book in print, but to actually meet readers took it to a whole new level. If you are an author, I encorage you to contact your local book store and see if they have any upcoming events where they are supporting local authors. It's so worth it.
