Hectic Time of Year

Hello Readers,
I know I haven't posted in quite some time, but my days have been quite hectic. As you may know, I have been stricken with vertigo, and if you have ever had a severe case of it, you know it is horrid. It's slowly getting better. In addition to that, I started a new job. Crazy to have to do something like that and deal with vertigo. In addition to that, the final edits for my second novel arrived, and if all this wasn't enough, Thanksgiving came! Yikes. Thanksgiving was wonderful, spent with my son's family and a few friends. We had a lot to be thankful for this year ... a healthy baby girl! I managed to get through my edits and turned them back in and now it's time to turn my attention to Christmas. This is my favorite time of year. I love all the old caroles, the TV specials, the tree, decorations, the parties, treats, cookies, stockings, and all the surprises that will be under the tree. This year will be my granddaughter's first Christmas. The tree is up and she loves the lights. Althought she will only be 4-months old on Christmas, there will be quite a few presents under the tree with her name on them. I can hardly wait. What are some of your Christmas traditions?

Christmas Reads

Is someone on your Christmas list getting a book for a gift? A Nook or Kindle?

Happy New Year!!

Happy New Year! I got a new book for Christmas, "The Casual Vacancy" by my inspiration, J.K. Rowling. I started it over the New Year weekend, but will have to wait until I finish it to post a review. Did you get a book or books for Christmas? What are you reading?
