Update on Burdney
I've been super blessed to see the Lord answering prayer this past month! A heavy focus on writing has brought me beyond the halfway point in Burdney, and I managed to get the synopsis done as well (easier said than done).
Now, call me tired if you will, but I've never laughed so hard at a scene in one of my own books, as I did recently while introducing a new character named Simone. I look forward to introducing her to you more fully!

Blunt lifted his chin and made up his mind. “I shall accept your offer of transportation, but must remind you that time is of the essence, my good people. We must make haste and see that we keep to the course without any delays.”
“Fortunately," Simone murmured as her gaze probed the cart’s unusual load, "I don’t think we brought any of those with us.”
