I get inspiration from many things, like movies, books, and just life experiences. Sometimes a line will come to me when I'm performing the most basic daily thing like washing dishes or reading in bed.(less)

I thought to myself, I can do that and create my own little stories. For me, it's never easy to write a poem, no matter how simple the poem may seem. It takes imagination, recollection of moments from the past, tempered use of metaphor and simile sometimes, and just having this inner desire to create and to hope that others will enjoy what you've written too.(less)

Marathon Man by William Goldman
"There’s something about a 1979s novel that gets me going. And getting evil Nazis makes it even better. The book is very different from the movie, so if you think you know the story from the movie, pleasant surprise. That being said, Levy, the main ch" Read more of this review »

As Long As Our Bones Lie Together by Razvan-Gabriel Popa
"As Long As Our Bones Lie Together is one of those rare dark fantasies that feels less like a story you read and more like a mood you inhabit. It’s gothic, sorrow-soaked, and steeped in longing, telling the tale of a woman bound to the world after dea" Read more of this review »
