Night Sea Journey hit Best-Seller List
This is the last day for a free copy of Night Sea Journey, A Tale of the Supernatural. Amazon has my book as #23 in top 100 books in horror/occult category. Thanks for everyone's interest! And, please, let me know if you liked Night Sea Journey. This was only just released in October 2012. Thanks again to all who are supporting me and reading my book.

Bestseller List! or Bestseller List?
I'm pleased to say that after this last free promotion of Night Sea Journey, my rank on Amazon soared. For 6 hours on Sunday, Night Sea Journey was in the top 100 books at #14 in the horror/occult genre. This was only for about 6 hours. Some of my author friends advised that I could now pitch the book as a "bestseller" since it was among the top 100 bestsellers for the day.
Does 6 hours on the bestseller list really qualify as a best seller? I'm not sure. Because actually it only means that my ebook was downloaded more times per hour than the other 86 in the top 100 sellers in that genre, and more times than all the books in that genre were selling.
What is the protocol to be tagged a bestseller in this industry? I'd love to hear some thoughts or experience others have had. Please comment.
