At the moment I'm trying to turn my Kindle Single story "This Jerkwater Life" into a novel. I've taken a few runs at it in the past but have never been able to really get going on it. I think now, though, I've finally figured out what needs to happen. Or, rather, who needs to happen. Funny how just one POV change can really open things up.

As to when, I'm hoping to have something ready in a year from now. We'll see. At the very least I hope to have a horrible rough draft ready.

Thanks for the question!

“I don't teach writing. I teach patience. Toughness. Stubbornness. The willingness to fail. I teach the life. The odd thing is most of the things that stop an inexperienced writer are so far from the truth as to be nearly beside the point. When you feel glosbal doubt about your talent, that is your talent. People who have no talent don't have any doubt.”
Richard Bausch
