I was born on Long Island, New York. I moved around a lot when I was younger, I lived in New York, Arizona, New York (again), Washington, Georgia, and Florida, and now I’m back in New York. Each place has offered me something special.
I started writing as soon as I could spell. When I was three, yes three, my mother gave me a copy of Laura Ingalls Wilder’s Little House in the Big Woods; this became my most prized possession.
Writing was a form of therapy for me when I realized that no matter what was happening in my life, I could find an escape in my writing.
I have a degree in Humanities and English literature. I now reside in New York with my husband, and daughter, one hyper Chihuahua, two sweet cats, and one very fat moody cat.
