Murielle Cyr is the author of 2 novellas for young adults: 'Culloo', and 'Catori's Worlds'. She also wrote a short novella for young children called 'Turtle Wish'. Her stories and poetry have appeared in several literary magazines throughout the years. 'The Daughters’ Story' is her debut historical fiction novel. She holds double degrees in both Creative Writing and Education from Concordia University. She lives in Richelieu, Québec, just south of Montreal.

When I return to it and am still blocked, I proofread what I wrote or add another sentence. Soon I'm back into my story.(less)

Murielle Cyr Believe in yourself. Write a little everyday: a word, a sentence, a paragraph, pretty soon a mountain of words will have accumulated.
