John Siers is an Air Force veteran, currently retired from his old job as a software developer. He spends his time writing, and operates a little gunsmith business on the side.

John lives near Memphis, Tennessee with his wife, youngest son, dog, and two cats. Hobbies include astronomy, woodworking, hunting, and shooting sports. He has been writing Science Fiction for over twenty years, and published his first full-length novel, The Moon and Beyond in 2012. His second novel Someday the Stars was published in May,2013 and won the 2014 Darrell Award for Best SF Novel by a Midsouth Author.

I'm hoping to produce another award-winner (Someday the Stars won the 2014 Darrell Award for Best SF Novel by a Mid-South Author, and Valkyrie's Daughter is in the running for the 2015 award) Mostly I write what I think my readers want to see, and the series has gotten some good reviews so far.(less)

Hello John, thank you for the answer. excuse me if I dare to insist a bit, but they may be native, but then, do know nothing about the army, because to translate "at ease", or "stay as you are" would make more sens to write "repos" then any other translation related as "comme vous voulez" . and they are doing so many mistakes between he ans she. Just to help, I can send comments. just let me know to who ? if you want

The next book is OUT...

Wow! Just realized how long its been since I had a chance to post here. Long enough, in fact for the third book in the Lunar Free State series, Valkyrie's Daughter to make its way through the publishing process and out to the booksellers. It's available in hardcover, softcover, and the major e-book formats at all of the usual outlets (Amazon, B&N, iBookStore, etc.)
