Jack Runion When I find myself at a point where I feel like I am rambling on, essentially repeating myself or where I can't think of anything to write, I put the …moreWhen I find myself at a point where I feel like I am rambling on, essentially repeating myself or where I can't think of anything to write, I put the pen and paper away or turn off my computer. I've found that forced writing is often not my best work or my most creative. I will simply go about my day and go through my normal routine without pressuring myself to write. Eventually, I will have that "Aha" moment and then get back to writing again. It may be a day or two, it may be a week or two, maybe even a month before I get back to writing.(less)
