Suzanne grew up in Chilliwack, B.C. A musical child, she studied music composition at the U of Victoria and UC San Diego. After a brief career as a composer and pianist, she drifted into music education where she learned she could weave a good story that kept kids pretty entertained. The Shadow of the Unicorn is a three-part series about endangered species and the recklessness of humans.

Seriously? I’ve lost all faith in the Giller Award. Yes, the guy can write, but incest and child molesting? Umm, seriously? Whatever happened to a great story? This one is plain ordinary disturbing. I don’t think I’ll bother with Giller books anymore.
