Hi Tricia!
Thank you so much for your interest in my books! It's not an easy answer, though. Because my books vary so broadly in genre, I'd use that as a way of choosing.

For erotica, bdsm and a short entry into my work, I'd recommend Driftwood Deeds. It's also free :).

For Fantasy/Romance/Paranormal-lovers who like it a bit more on the epic side, the Lakeside Series would be the way to go.

And for someone who likes a read that's a little different, I'd send them to After Life Lessons, which is Post-Apoc mixed with General and Woman's Fiction, a Love Story and Zombies.

I am also always happy to give books away for reviews, and for people who end up enjoying it, I have a list of preferential reviewers, who always get first shot at a new release. We are currently booking reviewers for After Life Lessons, because Book Two (last book in the series) will come out at the end of the month. But I would be happy to send you any of the others as well :).(less)

Hi! Thank you so much for your question!
There will be a total of three books in the series: Driftwood Deeds, Trading Tides and Saltwater Skin. So only one more. And I hope it will be out towards the end of the year, December or possibly even November.

But where Driftwood Deeds and Trading Tides take place shortly after each other and are both narrated by the female protagonist, Saltwater Skin is set a year in the future and told by the male protagonist. So, there is quite a gap there, anyway. :)(less)

Building a Simple Board Room

Creating a relaxed and useful boardroom is not hard with these types of ideas. The main focus of a basic boardroom is its with capacity of arrangement. A traditional U-shaped make is ideal for tiny groups, while a theater-style setup is best suited for larger groups. This setup enables participants to face the speaker and encourages connection between affiliates. It also enables a central moderat

“Maybe talking’s just not your thing,” Emily said gently, suddenly acutely aware of his discomfort. “Maybe it’s screaming or kicking things or... splattering paint against a wall or fucking, or I don’t know—any of a million things.”
Laila Blake

“When we see too many battlefields, it breaks something inside of a person and they lose the ability to distinguish between cruelty and necessity.”
Laila Blake, A Taste of Winter

“This wasn't how their story was supposed to go. This wasn't what she dreamed of. And yet, everything had changed.”

“O Me! O life!... of the questions of these recurring;
Of the endless trains of the faithless—of cities fill’d with the foolish;
Of myself forever reproaching myself, (for who more foolish than I, and who more faithless?)
Of eyes that vainly crave the light—of the objects mean—of the struggle ever renew’d;
Of the poor results of all—of the plodding and sordid crowds I see around me;
Of the empty and useless years of the rest—with the rest me intertwined;
The question, O me! so sad, recurring—What good amid these, O me, O life?

Answer.

That you are here—that life exists, and identity;
That the powerful play goes on, and you will contribute a verse.”
Walt Whitman, Leaves of Grass

“Resist much, obey little.”
Walt Whitman, Leaves of Grass

“Shame is the lie someone told you about yourself.”
Anaïs Nin

“Do you think I am an automaton? — a machine without feelings? and can bear to have my morsel of bread snatched from my lips, and my drop of living water dashed from my cup? Do you think, because I am poor, obscure, plain, and little, I am soulless and heartless? You think wrong! — I have as much soul as you — and full as much heart! And if God had gifted me with some beauty and much wealth, I should have made it as hard for you to leave me, as it is now for me to leave you. I am not talking to you now through the medium of custom, conventionalities, nor even of mortal flesh: it is my spirit that addresses your spirit; just as if both had passed through the grave, and we stood at God's feet, equal — as we are!”
Charlotte Brontë, Jane Eyre

“Grown-ups don't look like grown-ups on the inside either. Outside, they're big and thoughtless and they always know what they're doing. Inside, they look just like they always have. Like they did when they were your age. Truth is, there aren't any grown-ups. Not one, in the whole wide world.”
Neil Gaiman, The Ocean at the End of the Lane

Rob Rosen Laila, hi. Hope all is well. Since we’re Goodreads friends, I thought I’d share my latest novel, Midlife Crisis, with you.

I hope you can pick up a copy. As a special thanks for your time, feel free to message me on Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/therobrosen) for a free PDF copy of any of my other 9 novels, which you can find here: http://www.therobrosen.com
