5 star = totally loved, couldn't put it down, got a lot out of it
4 star = liked, was a pretty good/interesting read
3 star = meh, it's okay but it didn't grab me

Writing Transitions

Thinking about it now, my writing’s transition has been quick and actually quite dramatic. Just a couple of years ago, my audience was usually just one person, typically professors, meaning my audience was most often paid to read my words.
