Shamsul Amin is a Malaysian writer, editor, and creative services specialist. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Malay Linguistics and a Master’s in Malay Studies from the University of Malaya, Kuala Lumpur.

Throughout his career, Shamsul has held influential roles in Malaysia's literary and publishing spheres. He began as an executive editor at Perbadanan Kota Buku (2016-2018), served as a digital content writer at Media Prima Berhad (2018-2019), and later became a publishing officer at Gerakbudaya (2019). He went on to work as the Brand Lead at Appear Asia, a content marketing agency, before taking on the role of Publishing Manager at The Biblio Press.
