Elliot Spencer was raised in the suburbs of London, UK and has spent most of his career working in marketing, advertising and translation for a variety of industries.
Throughout his adult life, Elliot has been fascinated by the political arena and intrigued by conspiracy theories that that decisions made by governments across the world are in fact manipulated somehow by unknown forces.

Elliot's first novel "Flames of Obscurity" takes this idea to extremes and shows how seemingly honourable politicians can be made to betray everything they stand for, if pushed far enough, with often devastating consequences.

Everything I have written has come from my own experience and so for me, it all flowed quite naturally.
However there were sometimes periods where I was writing about painful situations in my past and I was unsure how to best describe these, causing me to spend days at a time pondering over the best way forward.(less)

As someone with a linguistic background, words and expression are extremely important to me and so writing about things and connecting your feelings, ideas and thoughts with others brings enormous fulfilment.(less)
