A former elementary school teacher and subsequent lover of the English language in the written word, Tracy Slonaker found several new hobbies after embarking on the new career of motherhood. One hobby was running distances, which gave her plenty of time to create characters, build plots, and listen for God’s input. The result of all this thinking was the birth of a new hobby: writing the Angelmen Series, an analogy of God’s love for His people. Amity of the Angelmen is the first installment of this series.

Tracy enjoys her life as a wife and mother of three in just outside Reading, PA. She still has a soft spot for kids and an eagerness to use her degrees in Elementary Education by using them as Director of Christian Education at her non-den

When I look around, I see that, yes, pretty much every story worth reading has been done. With that in mind, there is only one story in my mind that needs to be repeated - the story of God's love and His plan for salvation. When I started my Angelmen series, my goal was to show that beautiful story from another angle - the salvation of another race (the Nephilim). So, the first 4 books will introduce the characters that you will hopefully grow attached to, and then in the 5th book, we will see God's plan for them unfold.
Am I influenced by what I read? Well, the Angelmen books are influenced by the Bible. But as for other fiction that I read, I would say yes also. Good, quality fiction more than anything else has taught me how unfold a story in a beautiful, yet concise and action-filled way.

Why Did God Give You A Dominant Hand?

Picture  I have been so busy lately, my right hand doesn't always know what my left hand is doing. Literally. This morning it was time to brush my teeth, but my right hand was busy. (Seriously, I don't even know what it was doing because my brain went a different way after that.) So, I picked up my toothbrush with my left hand and mentally said to it, "You can do this. There's no reason you can't. It's n Read more of this blog post »

T.C. Slonaker I am so thankful to those of you who have chosen me as your friend. And I would like to tell you that I read all the reviews you put up. Any book that is rated 5 stars by my friends goes on my To-Read list. (Which is getting quite long since the only reading I've done lately is what I've been editing in my own books!)

Thanks for the recommendation. I wish I could read more. When my books are done, I think I will sit back and read!

Doanique I like this app. Currently I am reading Larry Niven's book Lucifier's Hammer because my husband has a ton of books and they are mostly sci-fi. Great book by the way. He and I both read just about anything.
