I have a to-read list that has gotten out of control and far too many books that I need to read for review. So with that said, I really really need your help for next month's group read. I've listed a few that have been on my to-read for awhile now that I want to read soon.
So which of the follow books would you like as the group read book for March?

“NO reader has ANY obligation to an author, whether it be to leave a review or to write a "constructive" one. I put out a product. You are consumers of that product. Since when does that mean you have to kiss my ass? Hey, I like Pop-Tarts and eat them a few times a year; since when does that mean I'm obligated to support Kellogg's in any way except legally purchasing the Pop-Tarts before I eat them? I wasn't aware that purchasing and consuming a product meant I was under some sort of fucking thrall in which I'm only allowed to either praise the Pop-Tart (which to be honest isn't hard, especially the S'mores flavor) or, if I am going to criticize a flavor, offer a specific and detailed analysis as to why, phrased in as inoffensive and gentle a manner as possible so as not to upset the gentle people at Kellogg's."

To all my readers and friends here on Goodreads: my lovely husband passed away yesterday. He was (and is) the love of my life for over twenty years, and I am bereft. He leaves an amazing daughter who made him proud every single day.I will not be writing for a while. I cannot give a date for the release of 'Unbound', but I will return to it, and it will get completed. I promise.
Thank you for your understanding.
Tabitha xx
I just want you to know that you made my day.I saw your request and I nearly fainted!!
Thanks so much for the friend vite and I just wanted to tell you, I don't normally like "Dark" reads but whenever I mention the ones I did LOVE, your book is always the first one I tell people about. I try to spread the love for "The Tied Man"!!
Waiting patiently for book two!!!

Enjoy! (Well, 'enjoy' might not be the most accurate verb, but you get my drift...)
Wow, I just found my first neo-nazi on Goodreads! At least they were honest about it, by helpfully including 'NationalSocialist' in brackets after their first name, and having a profile pic adorned with a nazi emblem and the motto '14 words' (taken from a phrase coined by good old Adolf himself, no less). I wonder if I should gift them a copy of The Tied Man and engage in a lively debate about feminism, LGBTQ rights and the future of international immigration? (LOL jk, I flagged that bugger the minute I saw it).
Hi Tabitha, just following you now on twitter (or at least I sooooo hope its you !!). Not that I am a greedy bugger, but any ideas when book 2 of the Tied man is coming out ?. Gimme, gimme !!! Hope you are well LOL Donna

Tabitha, one quick comment - the name Strachan - to me that would not be an Irish name - it is more Scottish to me ... any reason for picking it. Not criticising you now but just wondering! I did not check, maybe it does have Irish roots but have no time to look.

Mo wrote: "Just finished The Tied Man - awesome!!"Thank you *so* much! I've just read your review, and loved it (also adored the pics throughout - I'd never considered Thomas as Coyle, but as soon as I saw that shot I realised what a brilliant choice he'd make). I must admit, I was nervous about what your final rating would be!
I'm really glad you approved of the detail in all the Irish references and language - it really matters to me that I get all that stuff right, for all the reasons you gave in your review. Thank you for the friend-vite; I look forward to reading more of your reviews, and keeping you updated as to where I am with the sequel (set between Spain and Dublin; I've *had* to go on research trips to both places, which was a bit of a bummer...). My daughter has just bumped into Charlotte Riley, aka Caris from 'World Without End' aka The Future Mrs Tom Hardy, and ended up showing her around her school. And discussing what it was like to snog Merthin. *Nothing* like that ever happened to me when I was at school...
Hey, so I was trying to recommend your book to somebody (as I do at least a couple of times a week) and it doesn't pull in the search engine where you can add the link or cover of the book. It doesn't even pull you up if you search under author. I fucking hate goodreads right now. I also couldn't find Vain or This Man....I think they're fucking trying to censor what comes up. Asshats!
Tabitha <3 your freaking awesome and your crediting me ? But thank you.:) I feel special... I will always keep posting on that board, it helps with my addiction of Finn and Lilith.
Tabitha:If you remember, by super brainy niece bought and promised to read TTM. I got an email from her today, that she finished it. The following was her email:
Aunt Judy:
SO, I have finished "The Tied Man", and I have to say, it was certainly interesting!
I would definitely be interested to hear your take on the book, and what it was about it that you enjoyed so much!
It was definitely attention grabbing, but I had a difficult time placing some of the characters within the plot. Several were definitely well shaped, specifically Finn and Lilith, but Blaine was kind of a mystery for me from start to finish! I kept waiting for some moment at the end when Lilith would "understand" her like she does to other people and things would become a little more clear. Perhaps I missed something?
My favorite characters were actually all secondary figures... I really enjoyed the beach bum scientist and kid-rocker characters, and Henry the chef/butler/man about the house was pretty charming most of the time despite his unsuccessful attempts to actually be particularly helpful.
Anyways...let me know what you think.
Love, Emily
