In 1996 I graduated from Rose Bruford College with a theatre degree in writing. Despite some alarmed looks from my family and some unspoken but heavily implied doubts that I would ever put this degree to any practical use I have attempted to work fairly regularly as, at least, a semi-professional writer. I also work in Marketing, which requires more creative writing and the ability to make stuff up than you might suppose.

I've had a short film on TV (you can watch it here under Videos), have worked on a few TV programs that never left Development Hell, written and performed in a musical on the London fringe, had two plays on Radio 4 and a couple of brief forays into sitcom writing. I have no idea what to title this post.
