Alan Daniels is an award-winning journalist who has worked as a reporter and editor for the Daily Mail, the Sunday Australian, the South China Morning Post and most recently for the Vancouver Sun. He is married with two children and four grandchildren.

He second novel River Boy (www.riverboythenovel.com) was published in January 2019.
