That wo…moreThe way I see things, there is no such thing as an "unbeliever." Everyone has beliefs. Do you mean someone who has different beliefs than you? That would apply, in the most universal sense, to every relationship, because no two people have identical beliefs, even if they share a religious label. Yes, there are challenges that come with the differences, including misunderstandings, and the challenge of figuring out how to make decisions relating to religious practice as a couple or family unit that includes more than one set of beliefs and/or practices. But there is also stimulus to deep discussion, creativity, and bridge-building. My second book, The Interfaith Family Journal, is designed to help any and all couples/families figure out how to do this with grace and satisfaction.(less)
