Pat describes herself as Texan to the bone, and she exhibits characteristics attributed to being one. A little boastful about it and outgoing, she rarely meets anybody who’s a stranger for long. She laughingly says she speaks two languages: Texan and a little English. She has dabbled in writing all her life, but in the last few years she has become serious about developing it as a marketable talent. She spent over 50 years in the business world but retired in 2013 to write, among other things. In 2025, she moved to Alto Boquete, Panama and has begun a new adventure there. Other interests include her family, pets, reading, gardening, needlework, , traveling, and she has over 30 years invested in genealogy research.

Strong all the way through. Strong storyline, just enough characters to keep it moving along. Well developed setting and satisfying ending. If any criticism, it would be that it needed better grammar proofreading.
