Ogre killer, witch subduer, bookkeeper for the Gnomes Of Terrible Hirsuteness Society, and Fairy documentarist, Alessa uses any spare time she has to write her accounts of the Fey kingdom before her memories can be wiped clean.

Curse of the Fey is the final installment in the Morgana Trilogy, a young adult fantasy series based on the memoirs of Morgan Pendragon that were relayed through the goodwill and resilience of pigeon messengers (a true feat in dragon- and harpy-infested skies).

Alessa is also the author and illustrator of the Mighty Pax's Misadventures children's book series, which currently includes A Christmas Tail, the Big Booboo, and Attack of the Fluffbutts! It is inspired by her dog Pax, the French bulldog with a heart of gold, w

Hi Laurah,

Yes, I'm definitely still working on book three (final editing stages). I'm so very sorry it's taking me this long to finish it--definitely not what I'd intended!

I suppose Life had other plans for me (in the let-me-kick-you-where-it-counts kinda way), but I've worked hard to get back on the saddle (cue in intense voodoo chanting to cleanse the air and avoid further mishaps) so I can finally share the ending with you (twists included)!

Of course, I'll let you know as soon as I get closer to publishing! In the meantime, thank you for your kind message. It helps a lot to read your enthusiasm about the Morgana Trilogy :)(less)

Hi Zoë,
I'm so very glad you love the Morgana Trilogy!
I unfortunately can't tell you exactly when the third book is coming out (I learned that the hard way with Book 2). My initial plan had been to have it ready by December of this year, but it's not a hard-set date. I'm still working on the first draft (though it's on hold until beginning of June because I have an important exam I need to take then), but I'll keep you posted via my facebook page as I make progress with each step. Once the exam on June 4th is over and done with, I'll be devoting all my free time to the book to have it good and ready as soon as possible so you may finally read how the story ends!
Thank you for asking :)

Pax And His On/Off Ramp ⭐ Pax et sa rampe sofa

Illustration of Pax, hero of the children's book series Mighty Pax's Misadventures, is on top of a sofa chair, and in front of him is a ramp, which he needs to use to climb up and down the sofa/chair.

Happy Friday!!
Ever since his back operation, Pax cannot climb up and down any sofa or large chair on his own anymore (nor is he allowed to climb up and down the stairs). So instead, we got him a ramp! Tbh, he was really scared of it at first. But now he’s got it down, and loves to sleep on the sofa, with his head resting on the top of the ramp 🙂
PS: I was trying to go for a slightly different a
