How do you deal with writer’s block?

Barbara Alvarez I write for a living, so I can't afford to be "speechless." If I can't come up with words, even after reading my outline, I work on my "work writing."…moreI write for a living, so I can't afford to be "speechless." Once I have been writing for a while, I find that the words come more easily, whether for my fiction or work writing.(less)

I'm Not Known for Patience

That said, I have been waiting for a week to get the proofs of my new novel, Into the Lives of Others.

I really enjoyed writing this book. I even enjoyed (well, mostly) working on the multiple revisions as I worked to make it perfect.
